Wrapping up another semester
Hello!
Miss Sarah here – just wanting to share some of my experiences from this semester
with you all!
If you didn’t know already, this will be the first recital where we have students
performing Tumbling routines and I am so excited to be heading this up! All of my
students have worked very hard over the past year to achieve their goals and
specific skills, but I want to give an extra shout out to my Advanced Tumbling
students – their routine is AMAZING. They have come so far and have put in the
work inside and outside of the studio. I truly cannot wait for you guys to see them
perform!
Along with teaching tumbling routines this semester, I have also been blessed to
teach Tiny Tykes, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Lyrical to students,
ages 1-12. My favorites to teach would have to be Hip Hop and Jazz/Tap! Each style
is so different from each other, but are SO much fun. :)
Although this semester has been busy, crazy challenging, and filled with learning
curves, I am so happy to be at Danceography and be able to teach dance to all of my
students. Being a teacher (of any kind) is hard, but literally one of the most
rewarding jobs out there – my students keep me going. Seeing their smiles when
they finally get that tap step or when they come up to me before class and say, “Miss
Sarah, I practiced over the weekend and look what I can do now!” is one of the best
feelings in the world.
